306. Courses & Programs: Wildlife Ecology & Natural History.

Wildlife Ecology & Natural History - Animal Behaviour - Pyramid of Life.

Wildlife Ecology has been our major subject since the early times of our college.

We use the famous book known as the Pyramid of Life.

This Book 6 major groups as:

Pursuit of Food: Grazing, Browsing, Migrating, Hunting, Co-operations, Competitions & Scavenging.

Reproduction: Male-Rivalry, Courtships, Mating, Gestation, Young & Passing Genes into the Next Generation.

Survival Strategies: Avoiding Death, Weapons, Speed & Precision, Camouflage and Colours of Survival.

Social Organization: Families, Pairs, Solitaries, Communications, Populations, Habits.

Controlling Factors: Geology & Climate, etc.

Modifying factors: Animal Feeding, Fire, etc.

Our approach has been to identify only the interesting information that a tourist would like to listen to while watching wildlife. The Commentary approach proved the best approach it only allows the guide to provide the relevant information fitting exactly to what is happening in front of them. The best example is like talking about the hunting strategy of lion as it is approaching the prey and discussing the various choices it has.

To make this approach more easier and more interesting, we have come up with the Photographic Commentaries 2010. (see page .....)
