317. News: Short First Aid Course by Base Camp International Centers - Canada.

Welcome to Page 245 for the Short First Aid Course conducted by the Base Camp International Centers. (Canadian)

This short but productive Course was conducted today afternoon, 26 May, 2010 in the main classroom of The Professional Tour Guide School.
The trainers were:
  • Heather Burley
  • Marika Listenmaa

The students attendance was large and this shows the significance of this exercise as it has benefited many people.


The Course contents were as follows:
  • Small Wounds.
  • Wounds with embedded objects.
  • Large Bleeding/Amputations.
  • Fractures/Sprains.
  • Burns.
  • Head Injury.
  • Fainting.
  • Choking.
  • Unconsciousness, etc.

The students were particularly interested as there were many questions that were asked and answered with great satisfaction.
They hope there will be another opportunity like this next time.
