312. The Friends of PROTS.

The Friends of the Tanzania Professional Tour Guide School, California, USA.

This is a non-profit making NGO that was established in California, USA, registered under the California Community Foundation, CCF. This initiative has been dedicated to the Diploma Program in Tour Guiding and Leadership at PROTS. Behind this initiative is Tom Seigner, who has been approaching friends and relatives and organizations to raise funds for this program. The money raised, helps to make students study at the school by studying the highest level – the Diploma. “Best Student” is the criteria behind the selection of the students who will benefit from this program.
After years of trial, this program has sponsored several students and its remarkable success is displayed in the competent graduates who are now holding responsible positions in leading tour companies. We will publish individual records and experiences of the students who have passed through this program and what they are doing out there. We will also publish the current progress of the students who are now studying under this program, like details of their projects. We therefore dedicate this page to this program and we will be publishing the continuous progress of this program. We welcome you all to give us support to this program.
